ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
The Hostess Hub Limited
Last updated: May 2026

1. Introduction

The Hostess Hub Limited is committed to ensuring that its website, thehostesshub.com, is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We strive to make our website as inclusive and user-friendly as possible and we are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our digital presence.

This Accessibility Statement has been prepared in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, as transposed into Maltese law, and with reference to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

2. Our Commitment to Accessibility

The Hostess Hub Limited is dedicated to providing a website that is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users, in line with the four core principles of WCAG 2.1. We aim to meet at minimum WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance across our website and we are committed to ongoing improvements to achieve and maintain this standard.

We believe that digital accessibility is not a one-time task but an ongoing commitment, and we take this responsibility seriously.

3. Compliance Status

This website has been built using the Wix website builder platform. We are working to ensure that the content and functionality of thehostesshub.com meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards to the greatest extent possible.

At present, we are aware of the following limitations which we are actively working to address:

Some images on the website may not yet have fully descriptive alternative text. We are in the process of reviewing and updating all image descriptions.

Certain third-party content embedded on the website, including booking calendars and payment forms provided by third-party platforms, may not be fully within our control in terms of accessibility compliance. We are working with our platform providers to address any known issues.

Some older content on the website may not fully meet all WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria. This content is being reviewed and updated on a rolling basis.

Where we are unable to provide accessible content, we are committed to providing an accessible alternative upon request.

4. Technical Specifications

The accessibility of thehostesshub.com relies on the following technologies:

HTML
CSS
JavaScript

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the applicable accessibility standards. Our website has been designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and browsers:

Screen readers, including NVDA and VoiceOver
Keyboard-only navigation
High contrast display modes
Browser zoom and text resizing

We aim to ensure that our website is compatible with recent versions of the following browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge.

5. Known Accessibility Issues

We are committed to transparency regarding any known accessibility issues on our website. At the time of publication of this statement, the following issues have been identified and are being addressed:

Alternative text for certain images is incomplete or absent. We are reviewing all visual content and adding appropriate descriptions.

Colour contrast on certain design elements may not fully meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA contrast ratio requirements. We are reviewing our colour scheme to ensure full compliance.

Some form fields within third-party booking and payment integrations may not be fully labelled for screen reader users. We are liaising with our platform providers to improve this.

PDF documents available on this website, including our Membership Terms and Conditions, may not be fully accessible. We will provide these documents in an alternative accessible format upon request.

We are committed to resolving all known issues as promptly as possible. If you encounter any accessibility barrier not listed here, please contact us so that we may address it.

6. Disproportionate Burden

The Hostess Hub Limited may, in certain limited circumstances, determine that making specific content or functionality fully accessible would impose a disproportionate burden, taking into account the costs and benefits involved relative to the size and resources of our organisation. Where we apply this exemption, we will clearly document the relevant content and the reasons for the exemption, and will endeavour to provide an accessible alternative wherever possible.

At present, no content has been exempted under the disproportionate burden clause.

7. Preparation of This Statement

This Accessibility Statement was prepared in May 2026 following an internal review of the website thehostesshub.com. The review was conducted by The Hostess Hub Limited and assessed the website against the WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria.

We intend to review and update this statement on a regular basis and whenever significant changes are made to the website, and at minimum on an annual basis.
